In addition to his ministry experience, Timothy has over a decade of leadership experience in multinational organizations across the globe.

However, in obedience to God’s call, he stepped out in faith to establish The Lamb Church Global, with a vision to see believers grounded in Scripture, empowered by the Spirit, and committed to reflecting Christ in every sphere of life.

Timothy is a devoted husband to his wife, Emamuzo Nwokoro, and a loving father to his children.

Our Lead Pastor

Timothy Nwokoro is the Lead Pastor of The Lamb Church Global, a Christ-centered, interdenominational ministry based in Los Angeles, rooted in love, truth, and spiritual depth, and dedicated to raising believers who live like Christ.

A passionate teacher and minister of the Lord Jesus Christ, Timothy is called to build lives through the transforming power and knowledge of the Gospel. His ministry journey began in Benin City, where he served as President of the Agape Force (Teenage) Ministry of Church of God Mission International.

While studying at the University of Benin, he served as Assistant Leader of the Jesus Generation Singers (JGS) and later as First Vice President of the Christian Union – Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (CU-NIFES), helping to lead a remarkable season of spiritual revival on campus.

He subsequently served as Prayer Secretary at the CLASFON Fellowship at the Nigerian Law School, where his leadership and passion for prayer impacted many lives.

Wonderous things God has done in the lives of his children.

I come from a Christian family. I started in a Pentecostal church in Nigeria, and then moved to an another church where I spent most of my early life. But looking back, Christianity felt very religious to me. I did not really understand it, and I did not know my God or even know that I could truly know Him.

When adversity hit, I realized I had no proper foundation. I just felt helpless in the world, doing things that did not satisfy the soul. But by His mercy, God brought me back to Him.

During that journey of coming back to God, that is where I met Pastor Timothy. This was just about a year ago, so I have not known him for very long. When I first met him, he was not Pastor Timothy yet, he was just big bro. He was my coworker, and we only spent a few weeks working together before he got transferred to a different location. But I am so glad we stayed connected.

Even in that short time, we were able to have some meaningful discussions, and I could definitely tell he was a man of great wisdom and composure. From then on, I would ask him for advice on family, faith, career, and life, and he would always answer with wisdom and grace, even before he became a pastor.

When Pastor Timothy shared his vision for a church, I felt something in my heart. At the time, I did not have a church home, and I was genuinely excited for him because I knew his character was good. He is not someone who would go into ministry for the wrong reasons. When he asked me to serve on his team, I was excited to do so. I prayed and just followed my heart.

Even before the first service, and before he officially became a pastor, he would pray for me. As soon as the first TLC service happened on November 23, there was definitely a shift in my life, especially spiritually. The teachings and doctrine touched me deeply. The perspective of the gospel gave me new light on how to approach God and how to grow in spiritual maturity.

The words were refreshing, the teachings were eye opening, and the sermons were as interactive as they could be. Over time, I started seeing a positive change in my own spiritual growth. Prayer and devotion used to be very inconsistent and felt like a burden, but now that is no longer the case by God’s grace. TLC has definitely helped me build that proper foundation and keep my focus on Christ.

The favor and mercy of God have also been speaking heavily in my life, especially in my career. I am now interviewing for positions at top tech companies in the USA, and I currently have an offer from one.

God is definitely doing a special work in TLC. There is so much more I could say, and there has been so much impact on my life that I do not even have words for it all. All I can say is God is good, and TLC has made a very positive impact in my life.

I thank God for how He has used this fellowship to strengthen my faith. Through the prayers, teachings, and encouragement from this community, my relationship with God has grown significantly.

After the group prayers we did in January 2026, when I raised my prayer request concerning my mom’s date for permanent residency, I was able to get one for the following week.

Meanwhile, people have been waiting for months with dates given 2 to 3 months ahead. We got ours and it was a week away. We went in, submitted all the documents, and she got her PR. I’m grateful to God.

From the very first day I joined the TLC church service, the Word of God has stayed so fresh. Every meeting brings new revelations, and that has really kept me coming back.

I’ve noticed that I’m constantly looking forward to the next service day because I always leave feeling so blessed and inspired. The simplicity with which the Word is taught just hits different.

One thing that really stands out to me in every teaching by Pastor Tim is how the Word comes with such clear visual imageries.

As someone in the creative industry, that means a lot to me, I literally see pictures so vividly as the message is being shared.

Honestly, I often wish the service wouldn’t end because I just want to stay in that moment and keep soaking it in. I thank God for the way His Word is working in my life and for this increased hunger to stay in the Word every day. Thank you, Lord.
